ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING DESIGN
L+ARC stands as an independent architectural lighting design consultancy, dedicated to serving a diverse range of project types. Our unique approach integrates both architectural and immersive lighting, offering comprehensive and bespoke solutions.
Our designs are characterized by their beauty, thoughtfulness, and meticulous attention to detail. We are committed to promoting environmental responsibility, ensuring that our lighting solutions not only enhance spaces but also minimize their ecological impact.

OUR HUMAN-FIRST DESIGN APPROACH
We go beyond the technical aspects of lighting design. We place human experiences at the heart of our work, and through attentive listening and purposeful decisions, we create spaces that resonate with people, cater to their needs, and stand the test of time.
Our commitment goes beyond being intentional designers; we also act as advocates. We stand beside our clients, the space users, and our collaborators, actively championing their interests throughout the design process. This collaborative and thoughtful approach to design reflects our dedication to creating spaces that enrich lives.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY FOCUS
At L+ARC, advocacy for environmental responsibility is at the core of our mission. We wholeheartedly embrace the challenge of driving the entire industry towards greater sustainability and meeting essential environmental goals, not only within the lighting sector but also across other trades.
Architects are the gatekeeper to the future of our built environment. The conversations had and decisions made have social, environmental, cultural, and emotional impacts for decades to come, and we aim to be part of that process.
We are committed to the responsible supply of materials and encourage transparency in sourcing and manufacturing.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University in 2011, followed by a dual master’s in architecture and urban design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2014. Her professional journey led her to Boston, where she honed her skills working for a leading manufacturer specializing in dynamic, color-changing lighting solutions. With a focus on landmark, bridge, and public space lighting design, Lindsay discovered a passion for intentional lighting systems that not only enhance structures but also foster pride and connection among users.
Following Boston, she worked for a lighting design group within an engineering firm and collaborated in the design of multiple higher education research buildings. Delicately weaving design into highly utilitarian spaces, she worked to create cohesive campuses and places that spark creativity while also feeling like a home away from home.
She enjoys how each job is complex and challenging in its own special way and she genuinely enjoys working with the multi-disciplinary teams to solve problems and create beautiful spaces.
Her mission is to create thoughtful and dynamic lighting installations that breathe life into surrounding infrastructure, transforming the ordinary into extraordinary.
