Project: River Valley Health is a community healthcare facility designed with sustainability at its core. The exterior entry and primary focal points feature timber-wrapped beams and exposed tongue-and-groove wood deck ceilings, establishing a warm and welcoming arrival. Inside, nurse stations are highlighted by lofted ceilings and clerestory roof systems that introduce abundant natural light.
Architectural lighting is carefully detailed to reveal spatial volumes and complement the daylight-filled environment. Modern healthcare spaces incorporate indirect coves and integrated lighting elements that discreetly conceal conduit.
A perforated steel tower illuminated with a lantern-like glow serves as a prominent wayfinding element, guiding visitors to the facility.
